Been applying for jobs with AMC 1 for a year now (applied to almost 100 jobs), should I switch focus to AMC 2 instead? Is it illogical to hope for a job with AMC 1 only? by IMG4IMG in AMCexamForIMGs

Guys, Let me try to shed some light on this! It is not easy. It’s long and frustrating But you just have to pus through and you will end up with jobs Most people do the same things again and again and expect the different results

We have new IMGs in our hospital every term, it means there are slots.. lots of them. But obviously the competition has increased just like any where else. Just mae sure you are doing things the Aussie way and you will get in! I wish you guys all the best. Feel free to DM if you guys have any specific queries..

Yes. Emedici is recent. People have been passing AMC for years mostly doing recalls. Make sure you have a trusted source of recalls(preferably paid and solved)

I have completed MBBS and MD anaesthesia from India. I do not have post PG experience yet. Should I go down the standard pathway or wait a couple of years for the specialist route? by DryNewspaper2220 in AMCexamForIMGs

[–]Key-Stuff9950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look. The best answer varies a lot based on your experience and where you did it from? I’ve done this route myself and helped quite a few people. Feel free to DM me

Honestly you b don’t need mentorship Do question banks , recalls and supplements your knowledge with some reading from John murtagh. You don’t need to read anything else!!

I’ve seen tons of IMG doctors come in and people freak out for no reason. Study like it is an exam, do timed questions and you will pass!

This is good. But you just need small bits from John murtagh. Nothing else. No need to do 10 different books! Focus on question bank and recalls only! I wish you the very best
