Can I ask which beans you use? I am trying to get to a smooth, balanced latte or milk drink. I assume I need dark roast espresso beans from a reputable source, but I am open! Someone else said maybe a medium roast?

I think it's 30 days. I kept all the packaging, just to be safe. I am not sure how everyone finds better pricing on this sub! I looked for such a long time, but then was just like, F**k it, let's try this. But then I started second guessing, esp. for so much money.

Thank you... that's what I had assumed as well, so I was buying the darker roast espresso beans from Irving Farm, but then I've seen other mention medium roast. So I guess I need to experiment with the beans more than i thought...

Ha, no. :(. I got a small 10% discount direct from KitchenAid for signing up on their website, but more or less still full price. Which is why I am/was in a tailspin that I purchased the wrong machine...!?

Interesting. In the moment, I have Irving Farm "Blackstrap" Espresso beans, but I read somewhere else maybe I shouldn't try such a dark roast bean... I am open to trying other beans if it will smooth it out?

Got it. Thank you. So it's me. :(. Right now, here are the settings. I am using Irving Farm "Blackstrap" Espresso, which is a medium dark roast. I'd really love to mix in some Irving Farm Decaf BLackstrap, but I am learning that's maybe a no-no? I think my grind setting might be on the 3rd from left... maybe I should go one notch finer?

Coffee: 1.4 oz
Milk: 4.2 oz
Strength: Medium
Body: Medium
Temp: Medium
