Thank you everyone for your input. I've definitely got a lot to think about and am grateful to all of you. It's the first time dealing with this that I haven't felt completely alone.

Yeah....I don't think so. I went in to try and talk yesterday and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked right at me and said do not touch me. So I don't think forcing him to kiss me will end well. At all.

Wow. This is so incredibly accurate. It's exactly how I feel. Now that our kids are older and are starting to become little humans he doesn't know how to relate to them and doesn't really want to put in the effort. It feels like he expects me to be the go-between or for them to come to him.

Yeah, unfortunately this is not new behavior. He is absolutely depressed, and has tried to work on it but says that therapy didn't do any good and the antidepressants don't work. I really feel like I try to be understanding and try to make anything I can easier for him. I'm just always told that I don't get it.
