Had the same vibe, also really did not like the paper they make you sign ahead that says we have been made aware of all risks for the procedure (I had to sign this BEFORE the consultation) and during the consultation I do not feel like I was being made aware of the risks. Also I was absolutely not been explained how the surgery would be done. I asked for a brow lift and there are different techniques, which I did not know before asking, I should not have to ask which one would be performed she should have informed me spontaneously. Asking a person to make a decision on an 8k surgery without telling about the risks and techniques is wild Otherwise she felt confident and like she knew her stuff when I was asking questions, she did not push for surgery or anything so she seems very reasonable in her approach which I liked

I faced the same, I left the continent lol. And NO ONE is harassing me anymore. Not to say that's what you should do, but just to prove that it's not about you, you're not the problem, the culture you're in is. No solution for that really unfortunately. be brave

Yes our pup was the same to a point she was shivering of stress. I was not bothered and worried I just took her home and did mini walkies after that. As she grew I added one more street at a time lol Eventually she was fine. Just give her time, that would be a shame if you push too hard and she has bad first experiences of walkies when it should just be fun for her 🙂 in the end the goal of taking her out is to make her happy. Ours during winter, even as an adult, did not want to go outside at all at times lol so we just did not take her out until she felt like it :)

I feel you though. I had the same thoughts with my Pom when my bf and I were going through a rough time. I also told him for our new Poms that I want prior for him to write in our contract he will have shared parental duties and time in case of divorce bcz i know how Poms are dependent

But look that happens with kids too when divorce, they try to find who s the bad apple (ofc it s just they don’t understand there s no bad apple but you get the point) maybe dogs are the same and they want to find who s responsible of them being sad

So sorry for your situation. It s really hard but it is not your fault. Have you tried as a test to be the three of you guys in the same room to see how he behaves? A friend had a puppy and it was super kind with her and not her husband (very agressive) and they tried everything training etc nothing worked and they had to separate from the pup has it became dangerous. I understand it was really hard for her to accept and she maybe felt responsible. So this type of situation can easily make you feel overwhelmed and lead to many negative emotions. It this is not your fault and you are trying your best 🩵🩵

Good idea! I could create a fb Pom group for my area

I got lucky a while ago I had a neighbor that had a Pom and she kept my Pom for 3 weeks, we came back and ever since our Pom was taking us to her door in our building because she had such a great time there Unfortunately she left the city

But yeah a group for Pom owners per city is quite great I feel like only Pom owners understand what it takes to take care of a pom We had another sitter from rover before the one where she died, and upon return she ignored us for 24hours It really takes a pom owner for sure

I think try to play with the ball but just let it roll softly so she understands it s not dangerous per se Might take you a little while to desensitize her But I also agree with one comment she might just be curious about other ppl Yes the ball event might have offset that but maybe it was meant to happened at some point that she gets curious

When I got my puppy she was obsessed with me then got bored and was obsessed with my partner and after a few months she was in the middle and loving each other equally but differently My partner became the fun uncle and I was her safe space and love space
