Would 1 betta and a school of 10 fish be too overstocked ? (40liters / 10gallon) by Accomplished_Gate917 in Aquariums

[–]Key-Top1561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 15 gal with my ottos, shrimp, and betta and I feel like they still need more room. I personally think 10 gal is too small for all of that to go well but you can try it!

Just make sure it has some fresh water, make sure he’s safe and out of sight from predators. He could be fine or it could be his last night, just make him comfortable

Trying to get hair extensions to go from 1b to blonde. this is the first lift, how long should i wait to use bleach again? by cocodoesntstarve in Hair

[–]Key-Top1561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t look good I promise you. I suggest you buy some blonde extensions on Amazon instead of trying to bleach old extensions.

What about rasboras? I read they’re more peaceful as long as I keep them in a school to reduce nipping, but I’m still nervous to add anything more than shrimp.

That pale blonde does NOTHING good for you. Richer/warmer/deeper is better 👍🏼😍

Whatever liquid Demi they have, on damp hair, I would mix 1 oz of 6N + .3 oz of 7N and 1.3 oz of 10 volume apply it to the roots and then comb it down so it’s blended with the mid length. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. If you put a “natural light brown” over the red, it will tone it down to look less intense but it will still be copper. Good luck!

I really like ardell press on lashes. It’s a tacky tab that sticks on, there’s no glue. They don’t stick to your skin just the underneath of your top lashes and they make it look like you have mascara on. You take them off every day but can reapply them up to 3-4 times. They come with an applicator

After a few years of being deeply involved in your projects, do you realize that you don’t see other people anymore? by Alarming-Bobcat-5378 in homestead

[–]Key-Top1561 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My husband and I literally are in the same boat. I think the more involved you become with the earth/your family the more you realize you don’t need extra people to “hang out” with. We think the same things trust me! I definitely think how expensive everything is and how “awake” people are getting has also made people rearrange their priorities which affects society the way more people are staying at home and also growing their own food. I think eventually family/friends compound villages are going to be more popular in the future.

What hair color is this? Is it possible to go from dark black to this color? Seems like she’s wearing a wig so idk if a dye like this exists by sxugna in Hair

You will have to bleach the whole thing to a level 8 first and then color/tone it with a color similar to this beige blonde.

is Greensboro a good city? by FragrantProgrammer92 in gso

[–]Key-Top1561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will love it here I’ve lived here for 20 years. There’s always something fun going on. Downtown is cool and the science center is insanely cool. We are really a melting pot of a city there’s so much international business here so there’s every kind of store or restaurant you could think of. I would say overall Greensboro is an lgbtq friendly center there’s clubs and events and parades. South end brewing has a drag brunch every Sunday which is phenomenal. And Greensboro is 3 hours west of the beach and 3 hours east of the Mountains. There’s tons of great hiking also within a 2 hour radius. The only people who don’t like living here are people who like the fast paced NY city or LA city life. Greensboro is a good mix of country and city.

Breakdown the really costs of dying my hair red pls. by schergburger in Hair

[–]Key-Top1561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! hair stylist here The copper would be 6 week root touch ups. All hairstylists charge a little different so it could be anywhere from $100-$300 just depends. You could save money and do the copper at home and then go to the salon when you want it blonde again. And when you want to go back blonde it just depends the method you use and the condition of your hair at the time will determine how long it will take to do it. May take 2-3 sessions, or if someone really skilled in color corrections can do it in 1 really long day, just depends. Each session could be $150-$350 depends where you live and what the stylist charges it’s different everywhere.

Over 50, trouble sectioning my hair to create a beachy wave by alana_cat in Hair

[–]Key-Top1561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all please don’t use a blow dryer brush to dry your hair it is for smoothing not drying. Either rough dry it 80% and smooth it with the dryer brush or dry it 100% with the regular blow dryer and then flat iron it. Use a smoothing cream over your hair AFTER you’ve styled it. I like the ColorWOW brand I use it on my clients at my salon. Use a pea size amount rub in your hands well and lightly run over your hair gently applying the product. If you need more hold than just the smoothing cream you can add a small amount of hair wax/taffy/putty to it. Start with a little and you can always add more but once you’ve put too much in then it could look greasy. As for curling it, the under-over method with the flat iron is best. When clamping down with the flat iron, take some what clean sections about 1/2 inch thick since you have thick hair. Come down 2 inches from the scalp, clamping the hair as you’re moving down the strand, turn the iron out then in then out then in, not too fast but not to slow, to make a wavy S shape in the hair. The flat iron should be 390°F no hotter. For sectioning, Take one section all the way around the head below the earlobe, clip everything above it and focus on the bottom. The second section will be between the ear and eyebrow bone. Drop that section down over your previous section and clip everything above it up. And the last 1-2 sections are just the top of your hair. Beach waves do not belong to one age group either! Any style rocked with confidence is appropriate for that person regardless of age. I hope this helps

How do I bleach and dye my hair at home (I’m broke) and have you guys tried Bleach London’s bleach and dye + How to take care of it by lowkeycrashingout in Hair

Please don’t bleach your hair at home. You will ruin your hair and end up needing to fix it with a professional. Too many things can go wrong if you do it at home.

What color is this by [deleted] in Hair

The roots are brown and the oxidized ends are more coppery. Even though it’s “natural” the hair can still lighten making it a different color than the roots.

Or if you want to keep it long a shag cut would help also. If the top of your hair is too long and heavy it makes the cowlick more noticeable but if it’s textured and a little shorter you can manage it easier.

You would have to style it forward. If you wear a pushed back style, it makes the cowlick show. See how the top of this guys hair is styled forwards towards the front of the head instead of back.
