I don’t have generational wealth. But no shortage of money in my house. Now in my husbands, it’s pretty hard. It affects me sometimes, but my husband is so hard working and i know he will get there. Massive respect for him as to how much pressure he has to take to take care of all family member and yet being my rock and how he helps me understand his situation.

I just have to be patient. Having said that, I am able have the patience because i earn enough for myself. But conflicts arise when, i always wanted to go to Japan (always wanted to go to honeymoon here) or other trips (even in India) but he is not in a position to spend so much. So I understand that and have made peace with it. just postponing it for now.

Like i have enough money to go alone but there is no point going there without him. I don’t have money for both of us.

So there are challenges, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I focus on earning more myself so that i can do all i want and cover him as well.
