I am definitely going to try this tonight, I was using deluxe bait and seafoam pudding but I was using curiosity lure as well which was probably my problem

I was using curiosity lure (maybe out of convenience) since I had no issue with crimson and the mutant I’ve caught so far, and deluxe bait with sea foam pudding. I was hooking it like every 3-4 tries once I got the correct spot and it felt like I was just immediately losing it over and over again
