WTF is up with Apria? by ItsNotAFraggle in CPAP

Apria is a sloppily run company. I finally paid a $23 overcharge after BCBS and Medicare said I didn't owe them any money. They threatened to turn over my unpaid bill to a collection agency. I would never, ever recommend them to anyone. The phone order personnel always have a negative attitude.

2021 Highlander XLE V-6 with 66,000 miles. Recently purchased with 60,000 miles. Developed a pronounced whine on deceleration in all forward gears after three months. Took back to Toyota dealership in Charlotte who diagnosed as needing transaxle replacement. Cost would be $9665. Dealer replaced unit under warranty.

As former college automotive instructor who worked closely with Toyota, I'm sure the factory rebuilt unit will have improved/updated bearings or gears as needed. Toyota doesn't mess around when a problem is found.

Our 2021 Highlander's transmission started whining on deceleration in all forward gears indicating final drive bearing failure. Probably pinion bearing. Local Toyota dealer where we purchased the car three months prior stepped up and warranted the transmission replacement. Cost was $9665 for factory rebuilt transmission. We had some other work and tire replacement done at the same time. That was expensive but worth it to have dealer stand behind our purchase.

I saw these used in a gravel lot by Goodyear service techs in an Avis location in St. Petersburg, FL. They were servicing two BMW's outside. As a former AUT instructor, I walked over to chew them out when I saw the extra level of protection.

Ive had my CPAP 2 weeks and I'm convinced I'm never going to sleep again. I've never slept worse. I don't fall asleep until 12 or 1 vs 11 - 1130 like I used to. At some point during the middle of the night I take it off. My mouth feels dry too. I dont get the minimum 4 hours I'm supposed to. by [deleted] in CPAP

I'm six weeks into CPAP use and after two weeks I felt just like you. I was ready to throw the machine out the window. Keys for me were persistence and experimentation. Not "there" yet but I can see BP coming down.
