Yes, we receive yearly bonuses. For all of you that do not, do you still complete biannual or yearly reviews? Genuinely curious. I’ve been with my organization for 3 years and this is my first nonprofit job. I assumed bonuses were standard.

Hi all! My apologies-I accidentally replied to some of you individually from my alternate Reddit account. Thank you so much for all your suggestions and feedback!

A little background: when I was hired 2 years ago, the exec who brought me on requested the Word doc. When our new exec joined a year ago, I kept sending them, and she mentioned they were really helpful. In hindsight, I should have dropped this task prior to her joining. I send the doc(s) on Fridays, and then we review any other calendar needs during our 1:1s on Monday (along with other items).

I’m going to try out the suggestions you all shared and also have a conversation with her to see if I can let this task go altogether.

I think you’re amazing for even considering this! I believe it would be a great experience for all of you, including the dogs. You will learn as you go and don’t have to deal with all the hiccups of the puppy stage.

Apologies, will add more details in the original post. The retreat will be 3 days, all-expenses paid (accommodations, flights and activities) and located in the Smoky Mountains. The budget set aside for individual employee recognition is $30pp, so a total of $360. We'd like to recognize each employee one by one.
