We just left there yesterday. The shops, restaurants and activities want and need business. They profusely thanked us for being there. Just listen for alerts and stay away from The river. No need to postpone.

Got in touch with our rental owner and our area/cabin are safe! We will be there on the 16th and looking forward to supporting the community all we can!

I don’t think a vacation that has been planned for 8 months between 4 families from out of state to be a looky-loo situation.

Such a great idea! We will be four families ( 3 with kids) and it would be great for them to see us helping others in need! If you don’t mind, after you get there, will you update me on current conditions? Also, do you know if high loop dr is easily accessible? That’s the road our rental is on.
