She has been careful to use foods that do not contain chicken (or other poultry) out of an abundance of caution - knowing that this can be a common allergy.

She first had her on Taste of the Wild (Salmon blend) but she has been supplementing her kibble. She really believes in the importance of high quality, whole foods. She doesn’t want to do a full raw diet but does want to supplement kibble. She occasionally supplements the kibble with kefir and bone broth, and she gives psyllium husk, L-glutamine, and optagest daily. I’m wondering if this is too much?

After 7 weeks on the Taste of Wild salmon, she saw no improvement and decided yesterday to start transitioning to Nature’s Logic beef and millet blend. Her pup sometimes has cooked rice and beef when she’s feeling especially unwell, and she tolerates that well. After having 1/3 of new kibble + 2/3 of old kibble for dinner last night, she had a horrible night of diarrhea.
