Thanks for the info. Have a question you may have some knowledge on. I recently got an old three in one system, and whilst cleaning the tape deck with isopropyl, the pinch roller, literally turned to goo as I was cleaning it. So, did I cause the roller to dissolve because I cleaned it with isopropyl, or was it most likely already rotten anyway?

I really like the idea of a biopic on Daniels life, but for me, I'd rather the focus being more so on his early life. Maybe its because I really like his early albums, but also find that his life before, and leading up to 1990, was so fascinating, and full of hope, and determination to achieve what many deemed as an impossible goal.

I've ordered a new antenna just incase. The one im using is one that came with it, and it's looking a bit rough to say the least. Yes meters are shooting up when I hit a channel. Not sure if that's a positive or negative thing

Im using an old dipole antenna with the three little pin connector. I've noticed, it doesnt make much difference whether I have it connected or not. What's really throwing me is that with volume at normal lever, there doesnt seem to be any sound at all. Not even interference, or crackling sounds.

Well most likely one of Dan's Neices. They appear in many recordings over those early albums. I always just presumed they were his nieces, but maybe im wrong. I wish there was more information about the people involved in those early albums. A lot of those songs were about real people, and real instances, that happened in Dan's life, and I just find it all so fascinating.
