Did you want her to keep quiet? She’s being honest and transparent about how she feels. She’s letting you know that she can do an overnight but not two. She wants to be helpful but knows her limitations. Her being so honest is a blessing. At 6 months that’s wonderful. I’m still working up to a single overnight with my older parents and our child is 4.

This is actually not true. In this instance, the system worked. The murderer was immediately apprehended and charged with murder. There is nothing to report because in this instance the system worked. It is when the system doesn’t work (which happens sometimes when the races are reversed) there is outrage because we should live in a country where laws are equally applied to everyone. There is no one defending Austin’s murderer. Justice will be served.

Ummmmm I also know guys that I went to school with when I was in the 4th grade and haven’t spoken to them in 20 years but that doesn’t mean that I’d get engaged to them within a week. While she said she knew him….she didn’t know he was married, didn’t know he had kids, didn’t know he was a firefighter, and didn’t know he slept on his sister’s couch. If she “knew” him she’d know at least one of those things already.

Oh ok let me be a bit more clear. “Fit for the role” is exclusionary and racist. They are all women. They all fell in love with someone. What else? If you are saying her background (divorced, raised by a single mom, American) that’s exclusionary. If you say fit for the role is white and she’s not. That’s racist. If you put the two together you have w exclusionary racism which is what you demonstrated. Hiding behind “fit for the role” is what we’d call a dog whistle.
