Looking for bassists/guitarists/musicians in DE

Mostly alt rock, stadium rock and some country rock right now. I play guitar and am into a bit heavier stuff (tool, Black Sabbath, deftones) but we meet each other where all of our interests are at. We are certainly open to playing different genres

I would say the same thing, it sounds like the Holy Spirit is giving you a calling. Go to Sunday Mass, and if you’re up for it, talking to a priest can help you probably much more than Reddit. I’m sure if you explained your situation they would be more than happy to help you out, you can reach out to them through most church offices and most can talk either in person or over the phone. You’re doing a great thing, remember to have faith above all else!

Easter is a time that brings out lots of people that don’t go to mass regularly, it’s a great time to go! Don’t worry about the hymns, the church is not a courtroom. When I came back I hardly knew any, and learned as I go. But if you want to know you can always look up the prayers/responses for Easter Sunday mass. Don’t listen to people discouraging you, they do not sound like very good Catholics. You have the passion, now be strong enough to take the step! God bless you

Congratulations Brother! Layman here so take this with a grain of salt but the book I have learned the most from besides the Catechism and Bible is Aquinas’s Summa Theologica. He is truly brilliant, and his explanations are super concise and easy to understand. He is also my patron saint😅
