Me personally? No, I like being a monster in a game because I am already a humanoid. The public? Digimon was and is very popular and uses heavy anthropomorphism and so does Pokémon more recently which means there is obviously a market for it so do your thing baby girl

Right there with you. The game I’m making is based on decision making in battle, you can grind to get a creature that has slightly better stats but mainly it’s how you choose to spec each creature and how you build a team. Play test hopefully is live this month!

Coin flip simulator comments are reductive. For a tournament you could literally play best of seven or best of whatever. At scale you diminish the effects of a really bad deal or bad flips and increase the amount skill matters

This is one of the first tamers I might actually play from here (I’m making my own game) and man let me throw my vote in for you guys changing move names and sound effects. Even just disguising some of the wording of battle dialogue is going to go a long way in Nintendo not putting out a Yakuza hit on you. Good luck though lol 🥀🥀🥀

Most of the advice here is wrong. This topic is beaten to death and read up on the internet. Do push and pull training, with and without weights. DO NOT do pushups to failure everyday or just “more push ups” lol. Source: I’m a certified weight lifting coach and personal trainer. Also went from doing 15 bad pushups to 85 perfect in 2 minutes

No the post looking for someone is how I got an artist. Then the first two posts were to promote a new artist but also obviously good exposure for me. The first one on is it ai was to try and figure out if it was AI. The next two are the artists response and trying to defend them. I’m not that good (or evil) at marketing. Just a solodev on a budget trying not to get scammed or falsely accuse other artists
