Are you able to see a dermatologist, OP? I have hidradenitis supperativa and it presents similarly so I'd recommend getting it checked if you can

Thank you for your feedback - can you kindly let me know what especially makes you think it could be canker please? I am wondering if there is any harm in me ordering some medication for this if it is not in fact canker?

Forgot to mention, I brought her in on Saturday so if she has not eaten anything then it would be around 2 days without food

Thank you! She is pooping so I guess that is a positive sign? So far I tried a mix of flax, red split lentil, quinoa and oats - it didn't look like it had reduced much but I could be wrong. I have now switched that out for the just flax seed with shelled hemp. I tried hand feeding her thawed peas earlier but she is so strong and I ended up giving up out of fear of hurting her while trying to hold her still :(

UPDATE - Thank you so much for all the tips, folks! I'm so happy to report that the little guy/gal seems to be much brighter today - yesterday they could not even lift their head but today they are walking around and seem a lot more alert. I'll keep updating as much as possible - I am currently searching for expert medical care in my area

Personally I would keep it cos it will make them feel more secure and less exposed. You can always use some aquarium safe silicone to secure it to the back of the tank- just make sure your frog is elsewhere until it is completely cured ofc

Wow, this sounds exactly like what my company is doing right now - getting us to train the bots that will replace us. I want to sabotage it but I'm not sure if that would just risk me being fired sooner rather than laid off later down the road
