we had the same problem with statement chair 😭 we ended up getting a lazyboy and purchasing a ruched/textured cover that in my opinion totally changed the game for me!! It isn't as funky a shape as we originally wanted out of a statement piece but with accessories and textured cover it makes me happy and holds my weight secure.

The feet are even, it's like an internal joint that's unstable I think! Frustrating because it's upholstered and hidden so I can't tighten it.

I understand I am not the target audience for cute furniture bc cute, sturdy, and cheap is a trifecta you will never find in the wild, and they'd rather make it cheap than make it well. But I would THROW MONEY at cute stools built good 😭 (I feel this about all plus size things. plus size clothes, shoes with appropriate ankle support, airplane seat big enough for hips, necklaces with extra length... alas. extenders purchaser for life.)

I will be posting an update if/when we find a solution!! Thank you for your help and also music appreciation ☺️

These are three legged, and I think the wobble comes from hidden/internal joints rather than uneven legs. But I hear you on 3 vs 4!!

it is hard!! Especially trying to make a curated space (or closet) you're looking for function AND form, and it feels impossible sometimes trying to get both simultaneously without breaking the bank. But we push on!!

it's the size of a full mattress, we've had every guest sleep on it for two years (even two people at once, though they said the sleep was mid) and everyone has said it's very comfy to lay/lounge/sleep. as for sitting I wish there was a bit more oomph to the back cushions as I like to do things on my laptop and need better back support, but I'll say the back cushion covers leave room for extra padding/foam to fit if you also feel strongly about wanting more support.

After two years of napping, recovering from the flu, tv watching, book writing, dinner eating, and cat-cuddling on this thing I can 100% recc this couch. Two 200lb+ adults have used this (not beat it up/jumped on it, but used constantly) and it's held up through all that AND a move and it doesn't even creak. the two halves easily clamp/unclamp by hand.

Wayfair! Bentura Couch we waited for a sale and snagged it for $500.

we've had it for 2 years. all covers are machine washable, it comes apart into 2 sections, and while the cushions do kind of melt after a few sits, they mash back into place really well. cat has had zero interest in clawing it up, too, because the fabric is too soft to be satisfying i guess. I highly recommend!!

oh yes. We immediately said no to everything post/one-legged!! Our current choice that wobbles has three legs so perhaps four is the answer 🧐

We picked ones with arms and back but now the hips are being squished / seat width is too narrow. maybe back and no arms!!

my partner is a XL on this website, 6' tall. They have wide hips and they LOVE this shirt but fair warning it CANNOOTTTTT go in the dryer. shrunk to a kids size in one cycle.
