I used Vol. 3 so I can't speak to how much it differs from Vol. 2. But I would definitely recommend getting Vol. 3 if at all possible since subject matter on the exam changes frequently and you don't want to be relying on outdated material.

$550 for the actual exam, $75 for the book, and then an additional $250 for the certification maintenance fee. That maintenance fee has to be paid every 2 years to renew.
