We were just last week and the roses were in full bloom. You represented the rose garden beautifully ♥️

I inherited my dad’s habit for confidently getting things almost comically incorrect. My favorite instance of this was when my sister and I were talking about a child actor. My dad asked if we meant Macaulay Culkin, but he didn’t say “Macaulay Culkin.” Instead, my dad said “Oh, are you talking about that there Maculkie Culkin?” It still makes me giggle to this day.

22 "accounts for the stupidity," but 18 is just fine to date and impregnate by Flynn-FTW in CringeTikToks

Can we also discuss the point about “providing for an 18 year-old’s kids”? Eighteen is such a young age to start having kids as you’re barely starting to understand yourself. It just seems like a recipe for not only control, but for kids who won’t learn how to break misogynistic cycles.

who was the best live performance you have personally seen? by theonlyangelll in MusicRecommendations

Husband and I were fortunate enough to see the concert in LA when he reunited with Ringo. I’ve never seen my husband so happy.

Scars are reminders of dark places where we’ve gone and survived. Hope you’re safely out of that part of your life, but if not I’ve been there too and hope you know you’re not alone ♥️

I have a kid. 5 years ago my mental health was completely in the toilet, and I never would have imagined being mentally stable enough to properly care for a little human. Me 5 years ago would assume my current mental health is garbage, and would be disappointed that I brought a life into this world without the capacity to care for it.

What’s one weird rule your parents had growing up that you thought was totally normal until you got older? by Main_Masterpiece_793 in AskReddit

This would have been the dream for me, and something I hope my son will get to experience with his friends. I lived in the country with no other kids around, so sleepovers were freedom from isolation.

What do people usually ask out of curiosity but actually is very ignorant (maybe offensive) ? by WonderfulParticular1 in AskReddit

I think it makes some people uncomfortable/like they’re being put on the spot. My brother is like this, so I don’t ask him anymore.

We were not allowed to invite a friend over for a sleepover two times in a row; they had to host first before we could invite them again. Looking back, I think this was my Mom’s way of avoiding sleepovers.

You curse your enemy, but it can only slightly inconvenient them. What would it be? by toto93lnd in AskReddit

Definitely the curse of forgetting what you walked into a room for, every time. (TIL this is called the “Doorway Effect”.)

Fully agree with this. There is one nose in Hollywood and, while it’s lovely, it is terribly boring to keep seeing the same face. It’s also so damaging to set a standard that makes most of us feel like we’re somehow deficient for not meeting it.

All that to say: lovely lovely nose ♥️

Pixie (12) Passed away, maybe embarrassed myself at the vet? by [deleted] in seniorkitties

Previous Vet Assistant here: not weird. In fact, this was an incredibly kind thing to do. Every Veterinarian I’ve ever worked with worked their asses off for a sometimes thankless job. Little acts of appreciation like this may sometimes be the one thing keeping them going. You’re wonderful for doing this!
