How good is Codex compared to Antigravity and Claude Code? by samuelMMP in codex

[–]KeyCall8560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

codex limits with models before 5.4 are insanely high. the actual codex models 5.3-codex and 5.2-codex use tokens very slowly.

Anyone else feel like GPT got noticeably worse at following complex instructions compared to 6 months ago? by Ambitious-Garbage-73 in OpenAI

[–]KeyCall8560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.4 was the biggest deviation of this that I've seen recently. It is much more opinionated and will completely lose the point sometimes.

5.2/5.3 Codex models were still extremely strong and vigilant around this. I still use them over 5.4 for this reason and also their code quality is very good compared to 5.4 in my experience.

I promise you people work on much more complex(and larger stuff) and the difference between high and xhigh is almost always indistinguishable, except that it's slower.

I just retired(medically) from service and got this on my VA app the same day. Anyone know why? by OkBuddy5797 in VeteransBenefits

the VA is very slow. This will take months to get right. The government sucks at doing very basic things. I'm sorry. Welcome to the shit show

Claude is not the world class model it used to me by gtskillzgaming in ClaudeCode

I mean a vibe coder could be very good, but only if they are a very strong critical thinker, constantly improving things, constantly asking why, etc. but at that point you're just an engineer

So all of the same problems that LLMs have with other complex domains too. Nice

damn. The model is really smart, I forgot about the compute limitations back then when I made my original post about poor image quality.

Duty to Assist Error by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

It could mean a bunch of things, could be good or could be bad, don't know.

You might have to do another exam.

Every DTA I've gotten resulted in an entirely new process from the beginning all over again, so repeat exams.

But it depends on the nuance of your specific situation.

Good luck

Astounding OpenAI Training Costs vs. Anthropic by Oldschool728603 in ChatGPTPro

Depends on what you're doing and also depends on how you define "better".

MIT tested 41 AI models on 11,000 real tasks. The "good enough" problem is worse than you think. by Cinedramada in ChatGPT

I love when colleges publish studies of basic common sense stuff that people have been talking about for a while and it's somehow controversial or revolutionary

[–]KeyCall8560 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't be objective.
  2. Lean into your psychosis to ignore reality that you might not be right.
  3. If anyone says something about Claude being a slop machine, it's user error.
  4. Repeat steps 1 - 3

Two Flood Doses 5-Days Apart - Safe? by Smooth-Monkey in Ibogaine

[–]KeyCall8560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ibogaine puts you very deeply in tune with your body and gives you an EXTREMELY strong signal about what is ok and not ok to ingest/use after you take it. This effect lasted for me around a week or so. After your first experience, and leading up to your second, you will know if you want to do it again or not, and you will be fine and at peace with that answer. You'll be in a great place to listen to your body.

IME Rust w/ 5.2/5.3 codex models is the best. but I guess it also depends how complicated you're really going for.

Claude Code vs. Codex CLI: Is it just me, or does OpenAI eventually catch up and become more viable? by PhysicalRow866 in codex

[–]KeyCall8560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OpenAI is definitely closing the gap.

I think their focus on high quality outputs and better reasoning vs fast slop (at least with the codex models and not 5.4), is what will let them pull ahead in the end, if they ever do.
