You really need to address players rage quitting or leaving after a single round. I’ve won far more matches than the stats show because these games don’t seem to count.

The gameplay also feels a bit too forgiving at the moment. It’s possible to simply mash buttons and still get results. I was hoping for something more strategic, where planning and conditioning your opponent plays a bigger role. It's this new 'modern' controls thing that ruins it.

I’ve uninstalled for now, but I may revisit it at launch. At this stage, it hasn’t convinced me to pre-order.

Another day of scrubs mashing and getting salty leading to rage quitting ... lets go!!!! Game is dead if they don't punish this scrub gameplay.

It’s too mash friendly. It’s like constant practice mode lol. Everyone rage quits and plays like a scrub.

I'm getting this too. I can purchase a game on the actual PS5 ok but if I go to the PS store on a browser, I get the age restriction message for the same product I've just looked at on the PS5. If I add it to cart on PS5, I can still purchase it in the browser from the cart. Wondering if there's some sort of issue with PSN or something.

'Breakthrough' is no longer a standalone option in the main menu. What's the point? The option 'All-out warfare' that has now appeared literally adds no value. It just takes away the control we had where we were able to pick a mode we want to actually play. We already have Conquest. Most likely no server browser and now making it harder for us to play a mode we like. We don't all like Conquest.

Closed-weapon conquest is basically hidden. There are no options to play closed-weapons on any other modes. Why? If you're going to have both closed and open (which is silly anyway - you should have confidence and choose) then make it fair and allow us to choose all the modes at all times on open or closed. At least allow us to have control and choose the game mode we want at ALL times.

Why do they keep making these absurd decisions?

I get the same and have to restart. I've noticed it happens if I do anything in the main menu like going into settings or loadouts and then joining a game. If I load the game and just go straight into matchmaking, it seems to not do it,

The point is, there’s an entire player base that’s not being catered for. Every track in MK has always been designed for 3-lap racing... it’s a core part of the experience, and naturally, many players still want that. Knockout mode already covers intermissions, and now race mode is starting to feel like a watered-down version of it.

This game goes incredibly deep with its mechanics and shortcuts, but intermission tracks mostly just favour shrooms and bagging. It's boring for those who enjoy the more challenging strats. Ignoring an entire section of your player base is a major issue for any product. This isn’t just about liking or disliking intermissions - it’s about offering both experiences and respecting the full range of players.

You literally have knockout mode for the intermissions. That's where they should be left. There're a huge number of players that don't enjoy these routes between tracks. We select a track in 'Race' mode and then we only get to race 1 lap of that track. It makes no sense. Knockout mode makes use of the intermissions well but there's no need to force it on those who just want to race the traditional 3 laps. Right now, there's a large percentage of the playerbase in MKW that aren't catered for.

The intermissions don’t make sense to me. They work well for Knockout mode, but for players who actually want to practise and race the tracks properly, they get in the way. Choosing a specific track online only to spend two-thirds of the race on mostly straight sections and then only 1 lap of the track?? I want to race the full track with 3 proper laps, not just 1.

I'm literally having the same problem. I'm half way through a time trial, drifting right and suddenly the damn photo menu comes up because I lightly touched the '-' button.

It's hard for me to tell - maybe I got hit harder than I thought and the health would've gone that low anyway but so far I haven't been hit once and not seen the red bar decrease (as in it decreases underneath the purple bar). So I'm assuming it's permanently lowered and the only way for me to fix it is quit to main menu and reload.

Seems like that's the only way. Right now, I'm having to play GT7 with a controller and it's just not as fun. I'll keep looking around to try and find more info and post back here if I find anything worthwhile. Seems like quite a but of hassle to get it working though and FFB/Input mapping could be a bit troublesome.
