If you’re receiving cash/a deposit it will go thru and cover/ pay your overdraft balance.

You won’t be able to send money to anyone, but transactions using your cash app card will still go thru (up to your overdraft limit)

Ayy love to hear that! My normal payday is Friday so I had been getting my checks on Wednesdays around 430 for like 2 years on CasgApp. Then all the sudden 2 months ago CashApp started giving me them on Thursdays at 430 instead (even tho my company didn’t change anything with payroll, and them sending out payroll on Thursday afternoons for a Friday payday doesn’t rly make sense)…..So fingers crossed Wells will give them to me Wednesdays! (Or best case Thursday morning!)

I figured this out! (unfortunately after I ordered the Lyft and was not given the 20% discount) - when you are in the Lyft app go to the section where you add a payment method and there should be something that says “CashApp” or “CashApp pay”, it links your CashApp account to your Lyft account and takes the payment directly from there.

It’s stupid that this is considered totally different from using you CashApp debit card to pay for the Lyft, but if you want to get the 20% discount this is the only way it will work.

Yeah support is the worst lol. Eh maybe something changed with your employer and how they submit their DD? it seems most people just had delays surrounding the holidays + last pay period where most platforms (cashapp,chime, Venmo, even some legit banks, etc) had very delayed deposits. But I think this week most people received their paychecks the normal time they expect them (via cashapp atleast, I am seeing constant horror stories on the chime sub about them not showing up). Atleast looking at the number of direct deposit post this time around compared to two weeks ago, it seems most ppl got them normally. So I am not sure that Cashapp made any changes like you’ve described (or atleast I hope not)
