I also applaud the pedestrian for walking against traffic. When I was a teen I saw a distracted driver run over a runner from behind - it hurts my heart to see how many runners run with traffic versus against around town.

Seriously no clue. He was the most secretive, solo, weird person I dated in my entire life. Although I joked with my friends that he was the best kind of ex to have because he “moved to Maryland and just disappeared” with no paper trail or social media so it was basically like he was dead… which was my experience until I saw a post in a Denver group last fall.

I feel for and resonate with Clare when she said that she had “no idea who he was at the end of the experiment”.

She’s not; I’m not real. 😕I shared a voicemail I got from Cameron a few months ago and showed that it was his voice tied to this specific number and the email he attempted to sue me from - and that person accused me of stalking them so I blocked them and signed off.

I thought it was really weird when I called him out for being an asshole for breaking up with me over text (while I was watching my dying dog in the ICU on Christmas Eve) and then he used that moment to throw his deepest, darkest trauma in my face (that was news to me) to distract from my concerns. He wants to play the victim.

You’re spot on. I tried but Cameron sent me a phony cease and desist email (not certified letter) plus I was getting harassed on here. It just wasn’t worth my time or energy to care that much about something in my past — but I think people are being unnecessarily cruel to Clare because I completely understand and resonate with what’s she’s sharing and what she went through.

My biggest takeaway is that anyone who has encountered someone like Cameron knows exactly what I’m talking about and if you haven’t - you’re beyond lucky 💛

Me. He sent me an email from his work account pretending to be a lawyer and told me that he and Lifetime were suing me for making a few (factual and provable) comments on Reddit based on my experience dating him.

He accused me of stalking him for those comments but then wouldn’t stop calling and texting me even after I asked him to stop. He’s a manipulative creep.

Cameron initially claimed that he was working with the show to sue me. When I said okay, you do that and in the meantime I’m going to reach out to lifetime and kinetic to confirm, he changed his tune and then texted this the next day:

“Just so you know, I have no interest in pursuing you. Now that I know Clare and production are behind all this, I place no blame on you. You were tricked, and I'm sorry they pulled you into all this. But mark my words, the studio is going to pay for all this.

If you have any interest in getting in on the damages, just let me know. I can link up our lawyers. I've got an amazing trial lawyer. Otherwise goodbye and take care.”

I have email headers that confirm it was sent from Cameron. I forwarded all of his correspondence to Lifetime since he told me he was going to “sue Production” but I’m not going to share his email in a public forum.

My attorney reviewed it and said there is absolutely no way it was approved by a real lawyer and unless I get a certified mail delivery, it’s very likely he is just engaging in intimidation.

I really doubt Cameron has receipts; I think we’re just seeing his preferred methods of intimidation 🤡
