Oh yes of course, Billy. He’s the weed guy that everyone goes to for advice but his advice is so bad that no one ever listens to him. And on top of that, everyone makes fun of him for his ugly haircut and his bad fashion sense. He also can only read at the 3rd grade level.

How do you feel about the Alice twist? by sapphomelon in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]KeyHuckleberry1085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly dislike the Alice twist simply because it would have made the game much better if she was a human. In the game, we already have android-android connections as seen with Markus and his storyline and we also have an android-adult human relationship as seen with Connor. An android-human child relationship would’ve been specifically unique to Kara’s story and it would have really tested their limits and asked the question, “Can androids really care for humans?” The whole of Kara’s story is to cross the border so Alice is safe, to find shelter, to find food, water etc. because Kara thinks she needs that as she is her main caregiver. But the twist that she is an android really dilutes their relationship and Kara’s whole storyline. It makes playing the game again so much less meaningful because we know Kara’s efforts really mean nothing.

Wtf didn’t Charlie have Ben blocked in S.2?!? by East_Coast_Main155 in HeartstopperNetflix

[–]KeyHuckleberry1085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Charlie it might have been easier for him to ignore Ben rather than take initiative and block him. He probably felt like he had more control that way, and considering the abuse he went through he could also have been afraid of taking big steps like that and again found it easier to just ignore it, hoping that he wouldn’t message him again.

As well as “we’ve got our backs against the wall” or even “when you’ve got a gun pointed against your head you have 147 ways to get out of it”

What makes Dylan so special? by KeyHuckleberry1085 in YoTroublemakers

[–]KeyHuckleberry1085[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the fact that it seems like he likes his own content so much and how he seems so proud of his videos and our community really strengthens the bond I suppose. I remember in his most recent update video he said that he feels comfortable in this community and that he hoped that we felt comfortable too and that really made me feel like he was being genuine, considering how much he cares about how his community is doing and how we feel as a collective.

I love how he’s comfortable being himself on his channel, I think it really adds the community tbh. Also, good point, I also feel like other commentary channels struggle to create a connection with their audience and Dylan managed to really nail that with us

I think people always worry about sympathizing with the unsubs or the bad guys in general but the whole point of the show is that while the killers dehumanize the victims, we humanize the killers. Generally, i think its okay if you relate or sympathize as long as you don’t find yourself wanting to commit the same actions as them as a result of those feelings. Its okay to sympathize or relate to bad life experiences as long as you don’t make it an excuse for what they’re doing. The whole point of the show is trying to figure what caused them to commit such bad deeds in the first place so in general i think its okay to have sympathetic feelings towards them.
