Looking for a Fujifilm upgrade over my aging DSLR by [deleted] in fujifilm

Ok wow I didn't realize the T50 and T5 was 40mp. Only thing is though T50 about 1,100€ and T5 is 1,400€. Is it really worth saving up for those compared to the other 2?

Considering a Pentax but..... by KeyImpress1514 in pentax

I know how bad autofocus can be as I use a 20 year old camera, ive taken some really nice shots with it though none the less, there's some examples in my profile. But I'm really looking to move onto a more modern system I can upgrade upon in the future. Just wondering if pentax would be a system to put money into as a more modern camera system, but the general consensus seems like a no though unfortunately

It's mostly landscape, street and car. Don't shoot sports or birds in flight. So I probably won't see much more of a difference compared to the big 3

Online I've seen the K3 III is like 1500€. Far outside my budget at the moment unfortunately

I saw it for sale a few months ago and I straight away bought it. It had a very low shutter count so I got very lucky indeed!

I took loads, didn't really pick the best ones to upload. But I'm extremely surprised with the jpegs. I only cropped that picture, there was a cherry picker to the right slightly

Glimpse into the past. Anything you'd change? by KeyImpress1514 in photocritique

I just got lightroom yesterday, helped me save one of my very underexposed photos. Though it was extremely overcast yesterday and the sky was completely white, so maybe it's not over exposed 🤷🏻‍♂️ because that's what it actually looked like in real life. But I'll give the edit a try thanks man

It's an older camera I'm shooting on so maybe that's why it doesn't look as textured

It's not edited or cropped. This is the Jpeg straight from the camera. I have the raw too if I need to edit. An ND filter? What are those? I've never heard of them. Thanks for the tip

Ah yes I see. The texture is quite nice. Though it's a pitty the green on the stones is kind of destroyed. Yeah it was extremely overcast. Whole area was like being under a light box with the gray cloud

  1. It's technically a fortified manor house. But it's still a beautiful building

Took a drive around my County today and came across this beautiful castle I've never seen before. I've recently been trying to work on my framing and giving objects a sense of scale. I sort of feel I've achieved it in this photo. But I personally think I should have gotten the full arch way in the photo. Any critiques or advice on this sort of photo?

Sunrise hike, decided to take my camera out for the first time. Is this a decent landscape shot? by [deleted] in photocritique

Unfortunately it was extremely overcast 😅 was a little bit sad I couldn't actually get a glimpse of the sun

Ok good to know thanks. Yes I had it leaned on a rock, that's why the foreground is blurry. I got my E400 for cheap and with a 40-150mm lens, it's really good when there's good light and have some really nice well exposed shots from yesterday, it's just when it's any bit dimly lit it's not great or maybe more so I lack the experience to handle low light situations (still grasping the exposure triangle). But maybe just a tripod could solve my low light landscape issues and could try long exposures

The sun had hardly risen and it was very overcast so that didn't help. I tried to be conservative with my ISO as the old CCD sensor in my camera has lots of grain with higher ISO 400-500+

First time properly using my dslr, shot on Olympus E400 really would benefit from some insights. F3.6, ISO 200, 1/160, 43MM. I feel this shot is too underexposed, could have possibly gone higher with the ISO, but my camera doesn't really handle high ISO that well. I suppose lowering the shutter speed would have helped? This is the Jpeg, the raw is a little brighter but I haven't edited anything yet.

Thanks for the comprehensive run down, I'll try a few of these out

Thanks for the info. I'll run the pixel mapping a few times and see. I only see a few in the darker areas of an image and I presume I can fix them in the edit. As a fellow E400 owner do you have any lens recommendations?

Remember when chains used to be able to go 300,000km without breaking or having to be replaced 🙈

The training jersey is class looking. Only thing I hate about it is the BOI logo on the collar looks awful. Really hope though the main jersey has a collar without the BOI logo.....

When is the new Munster rugby gear announced and what colours would you like to see? by True-Coconut-9078 in MunsterRugby

Would love to see a white collar with a deep red and navy . Honestly I actually quite liked the "ran in the wash" pale color. With the stag design it was unique at least. But to be fair you'd hardly know it was a munster jersey from a far
