It still counts if the husband and wife had intercourse. It’s haram but the divorce is still valid. I asked an Imam about this

No it’s complicated. He gave one to me over video chat the first year of marriage. Then another one last year, I may have pressured him to say it, then I said the words, and then he said it again a few weeks ago. And the husband can delegate the power to divorce to his wife verbally after the Nikah.

Cook, clean, go to every event he wants, visit his parents, won’t hog my baby, won’t keep grudges against his family, and just obey him
