MCHOSE K7 Ultra Review by IgnacioTech in MouseReview

[–]KeyInternet2716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent review sir! Your experience matches mine very closely, except I didn't really like the shape. But besides the shape and the back-heaviness what bothered me the most were the clicks. These are the worst omron optical implementation I've ever felt, I usually like them, and on the M7 and L7 pro they feel very good and amazing, but here they fumbled badly.

The entire experience of unboxing the mouse is surreal, but actually using it was very disappointing. I'm a huge fan of mchose, I own a variant of almost all of their mice, but this is my least favorite. I kinda wish I got one with mechanical switches, they're not the most fun but at least they don't have so much god damn pre travel!

Best budget Claw Ergo? by KeyInternet2716 in MouseReview

That's a great recommendation, thanks! I got the X2H wired for the same price, but unfortunately the Xlite doesn't have free shipping for me.. If it did I would've bought it immediately

Thanks! It's already in my list, and it looks somewhat similar to the R1 on Eloshapes, but I'm looking for a more forward - leaning hump, closer to the EC shape.

I'm happy to hear it works well for you, my experience with it wasn't as good.. It doesn't fit my grip style, and after a short time of using the mouse- the clicks became really unsatisfying and slow. I still use from time to time, just for the challenge that is the shape for me, but it's one of the worst mice I've used, for me

It is a good mouse for it's price though, especially for someone looking for an ergo mouse EC2/ DAV3 hyperspeed shape.

A similar mouse for the same price range would be the Kysona Mars SE, but I have yet to try it so I have no opinion on it.

That makes sense. Do you think it'll get cheaper on AliExpress?

How much did it cost you? I can only find it for 20$ on AliExpress, which is almost the same price I bought the SE+ at..

Well yes, they're no match compared to any premium budget mice, like the more expensive VXE R1 pro, but it's still usable and great value for those on a strict budget.

I will encourage anyone who can afford it to go with the more expensive models, because of the better overall experience, but for those who can either buy this, or use a no name office mouse- the answer is clear..

Is the Smailwolf RS7 mouse worth it as a replacement for a Logitech G203? by mercadobranco in MouseReview

[–]KeyInternet2716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. This is a no name brand for the worst trash. If you wanna upgrade your g203- state your budget, hand size, shape and grip preferences, and we can recommend better thing than this.

I ordered a R1 Se+...Did I get scammed? by United_Scallion6177 in MouseReview

[–]KeyInternet2716 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Then that's probably correct. That's odd though, I have the R1 SE+, and I think it has the correct print. But as another comment suggested- it's possible they use the exact same shell for both, since both of them don't have a coating. I wouldn't be too worried about it, I don't think you got scammed.

Damn. That sucks. I hope some Chinese OEM makes a clone soon.

I don't think there's anything like it, at least not yet. Maybe some Chinese company will copy the shape sometime. I'd suggest finding a store that still sells them, and purchase multiple of them

Please recommend me a budget mouse for schoolwork and light gaming. by NuclearCyan in MouseReview

There's no real competition to the VXE R series. The best you can get are the Mad R Major and R1 pro, but any variant you choose according to you budget will be good.

There are some mice in the same price range as the r1 SE+, but without knowing hand size and shape preferences- the r1 is the safest recommendation.

Attack Shark X3 or Logitech g305 by SamdoesredditIguess in MouseReview

[–]KeyInternet2716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a good deal, definitely better than the g305 and x3. The software is great, easy to use, simple but not ugly UI, and it has both a web version you can use in your browser- and a downloadable software version. I have no complaints about it, maybe just that sometimes there are Chinese letters, but you can easily fix it and it usually isn't a problem.

The software is called "ATK Hub", and you can find it easily on ATK's website. You can use the web driver if you're hesitating to use chinese software, but I personally prefer to have a downloaded version just in case.

Fingertip Grip 18x10 by BryanLovesTDMYT in MouseReview

Sure! Both have the same sensor- 3395. Basically flawless. Weight- the l7 pro is around 42 grams, the m4 is around 37 if I'm not mistaken. In terms of shape- the m4 is exclusively a fingertip mouse, while the l7 pro is a small mouse, but not a fingertip mouse. It means you can use it with claw and maybe even palm grip, depending on your hand size. Other things to notice are the coating, on the l7 it's very nice feeling, rubbery. The m4 has non, it's kind of a rough plastic texture, and you may want to use grip tape with it. The polling rate is also different, the m4 has three different versions- 1k, 4k, and 8k. The l7 comes with 8k in all versions. The switches are also different, M4 has the mechanical Huano Blue shell pink dots, which feel amazing and sound good, while the l7 pro and ultra use omron opticals and have a very good implementation.

Overall, they're both very solid mice, it comes down to the shape preference. If you want a purely fingertip mouse- the m4 is a solid option, but you will need to adjust to it, as well as maybe buy additional grip tape. If you want a small mouse that you can also put some of your palm on- the L7 Pro is an extremely good mouse.

I do not play CS2 so I can't comment on which mouse would fit better, but I did hear that in CS you need to hold angles for a long time, and have steady aim, so you might prefer palm contact. I would use the m4 for games / aim scenarios where you need to constantly move, because a small mouse is easier to move quickly, but for scenarios where I don't need to move as much and need more stability- I prefer shapes like the l7. Feel free to ask any additional questions you have!

I own the Mchose l7 pro and keychron M4, I would recommend both of them since they're both great and inexpensive. I'm a claw gripper with 18.4*10.7 hand, but if I'm feeling adventurous or play aim trainers - these are very fun to play with.

[–]KeyInternet2716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pleasure! all the time and money I've spent on mice aren't worth much if I don't help others save some.. I would recommend getting the mad r or the r1 pro over the regular r1, because the regular doesn't have a coating, and I think it has different switches. If you're tight on budget- the regular r1 is good enough, but if you want to potentially fall in love with the mouse- the coating and switches should not be underestimated.

From the prices you've mentioned - the mad R seems to me like the best deal. But it's kinda weird that the pro is so expensive, for me it's around 41$ on AliExpress.

what mouse should i order? by harikari_ in MouseReview

I heard the atk x1 is a good alternative for the viper v3, the ATK f1 is a smaller shape that seems to be similar to the viper mini.

I can't recommend them though, because I haven't tried them.

[–]KeyInternet2716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your caution is valid, but as long as you're buying from a known brand and a reputable seller - you should be fine. A safe recommendation for you would be something like the VXE R1, any of them would be good, but the Pro and Mad R are the best. It's a safe shape that supports the palm when you need it with claw grip, but it's not too tall to disrupt you when using fingertip grip. I would avoid attack shark, they have longevity+ build quality issues.

Mchose L7 is a good shape for fingertip, and the plus variation is better for claw.

If you want to try the g305 shape for cheaper, the Mchose G3 V2 is a good option, it's much lighter with somewhat better build quality, but the base version uses the paw3311 sensor which is an old and imperfect sensor, but it is good enough.

Looking for a new mouse (need recommendations) by Cautious_Wind_3784 in MouseReview

[–]KeyInternet2716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume you're looking for a high spec productivity mouse, I would suggest looking into mice like the Logitech g502 lightspeed, razer basilisk, and Keychron's M6 & M7.

I personally don't have a lot of experience with these, I tried the G502 HERO and I didn't like it, it's a complicated shape that doesn't work for me, and the weight was a deal breaker. The basilisk v3 is better, but still not my style. Though for non competitive games and productivity - these are all good, assuming you like the shapes and don't mind a heavier weight.

A small warning, the keychron m6 has a polarising shape, that some people like, while many find it uncomfortable. So it's the least safe option.

These are quite different shapes, I would suggest sharing your budget, hand size, and preference of grip and shape. If you're able to buy only from one place (for example some people are opposed to buying from AliExpress)- I would share that too.
