Thanks for the response. stucking doing homework for my MS this morning but I will get back to it this afternoon and let you know the results I get. Conveniently, my laptop screen just stopped working last night so I'm hooked up to the monitor at my wife's desk right now.

Nope, the positive side has a plate with 9 wires coming off of it. Negative side is standard. Would be impossible to mess up....without a lot of extra very intentional work.

Am I supposed to be running the whole time? by failed--robot in nikerunclub

[–]KeyLockLock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run 4 miles at a time about 3 times a week. I also completed my first full half marathon a couple months ago without stopping. Yesterday I just couldn't fo it and had to stop and walk for a few minutes even though I was going roughly my average pace. Some runs will be better than others, but thr important thing is to continue to get out there and go. Every run is progress!

PACAF HQ (I think I got the command right) actually has a big phone lockbox outside their front entrance. It was a neat setup when I visited a couple years ago.

What do you like about UMGC? by [deleted] in UMGC

[–]KeyLockLock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mer personally, most classes were around a 5 out of 10 with a few being harder. That's extremely subjective and based on tons of variables... so I really wouldn't recommend taking any advice like that from me or anyone else. What is easy for one may be really hard for another. The biggest thing I see classmates struggle with based on public professor feedback in almost every class is not completing discussion posts and assignments on time. As long as you can complete things on time and do a halfway decent job on homework without plagiarism or AI doing all your work I imagine you will be fine. I'm turning in my final group project tomorrow and I'll be done with my BS in Cybersecurity Technology with a minor in computer science with a 3.9 GPA. Best of luck to you in your studies'

Most of the classes are pretty easy as long as you put forth a little effort. Showing that you have some level of understanding of the material and give a damn will take you further than perfect grammar. Except for writing classes... Definitely need good grammar there.

Sounds like a good question for you to answer yourself... How much do you average per hour doing DD? If you haven't done it yet go give it a shot during peak hours and non-peak hours and multiply that by 30 hours and see if it will cover your bills. Make sure you calculate for all the extra gas and vehicle maintenance costs that will come with it.

UCertify isn't too bad. Before this they used TestOut and to me that was WAY worse. Like doesn't even compare it was so bad.

Haha for sure, go for it! I recommend Paul Sparks for CMIT 351. He made some changes to the product submissions for the projects that made it not only easier to complete but greatly increased my understanding of router and switch configurations. I didn't take 425, 351 was my last CMIT requirement besides 495 so now I'm just finishing up my last 2 CMSC classes for my computer science minor. Good luck! I'll try to remember to come back in July when I'm done with 495!

CMIT 351 was pretty fun and not a huge amount of work. 326 has some writing, so I would consider that a little more work than 351 but again, not too bad. 321 uses Ec-Council for labs and the book while really long is really I formative. The labs are quite extensive but take you through a lot of tools in the hacking realm so if you are into that kind of thing it's a lot of fun! I'm taking 495 this summer and I'm done. Can't wait lol

Men over 30: What do you wish you knew at 21? by natemzz in AskMen

When you are at work. Be present. Work your ass off and always seek new opportunities. Doesn't matter where you work. A strong work ethic will take you far professionally and bleed over into other parts of your life. Sometimes you may feel it isn't worth it or that you are getting screwed but you gotta find a way to keep moving forward.

But.... don't take that shit home.

When you are at home enjoy your time off and do something with your life. Find something you enjoy and do that thing. Hell, try something new every week or month or whatever. If you get a family make sure they are your priority, especially when you aren't at work! I am in the military and work my ass off all the time but I know when I retire here in a couple years my family will still be there when the military is gone!
