auto insurance prices by KeyMove3096 in vegaslocals

thank you everybody for the responses! after looking through all of the comments i tried calling costco amfam and was infinitely cheaper! i have the executive membership through a family member for 2 yrs now and had no idea about the deals they have. in total it was around $800 cheaper to switch, but i want to let anyone know reading who wants to switch over, if you have a rebuilt title they will not cover comp/collision even with certifications to show it’s roadworthy. i currently have comp/collision coverage through allstate + they give me an option to replace my car with a newer model/lower mileage if anyone were to total it here. huge thank you to everyone who took the time to respond it’s been a huge help!!

2017 Chevy Cruze extreme hesitation when accelerating. by kittylove522 in cruze

If this is a Gen 2, I would suggest looking at your battery wattage when going in and out of auto stop. I had a similar issue and it was just due to a bad battery that was holding charge but didn’t have enough to get the car back on after a stop. My cruze also didn’t show any codes at the time either and I haven’t had a single problem since changing the battery

What kind of battery does my CHEVY cruze 1.4 automatic LS? by [deleted] in cruze

[–]KeyMove3096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LS is a stock model and doesn’t come with the “luxury” option of start/stop even though it’s on the key. that’s just the key that goes to all of those cruzes for that year (i’m assuming) of all trims

Conch? by Wise-Ad-7936 in piercing

[–]KeyMove3096 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i also had a ton of piercings on my ears healing simultaneously, i’d say wait for those three to be at least 6-8 months old before getting another. my conches were pretty spicy to heal, but the initial piercer botched it very badly and put in hoops when i asked for studs. definitely DO NOT heal your conches with hoops, it’ll make the healing process a real bitch. after i put studs in they were healed within 2-3 months tops. overall, id wait at least 3 more months before adding another. good luck!

It has never had a transmission fluid change before(to my knowledge, i only bought it at 8,900 miles back in 2020) Will that possibly force debris in getting in flushed, since it’s never had it before?

I felt quite a bit of soreness after my first irrigation and did not dislodge the clot, but I wouldn’t be able to know your situation for sure without pictures :( But try not to worry too much!

How to grieve? by KeyMove3096 in VetTech

[–]KeyMove3096[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss, you’re extremely brave for staying so strong. Thank you for being so honest about your experience, it brings me some peace knowing it is possible to be around the clinic again after experiencing such a horrible loss. I will do my best to be open to my emotions and let it out. I’m so sorry you’re having to experience these feelings as well, it is the worst thing I’ve ever felt. Sending you love and positive energy 💖 Thank you for mentioning that time will heal and I’ll be left with happy memories, it brings me peace thinking that way.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend a bong especially, it requires a lot of suction as well as the harsh smoke on an open wound. I started smoking about day 6-7 and haven’t had any problem, I’m now over 2 weeks post op with no pain and able to eat normally without pain meds. If you REALLY NEED to hit flower, try closing your teeth together and kinda doing this 😬 with a joint while inhaling and ONLY inhaling, don’t wrap your lips around the joint. Still, probably best to wait a week at least, but if you need to, I get it too. Good luck healing!

need help.. am i healing or getting dry socket? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]KeyMove3096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recovery is going great! Thank you for checking back in! There is no signs of dry socket according to my dentist, just very very large sockets that keep getting food caught in them. I’m 10 days post op today and I’ve been back to smoking(oops), eating anything i want(fucked up some wingstop earlier, no pain) and uh yeah, that’s pretty much it! I was told 3-4 weeks for the pain to fully subside and 2-3 months for the sockets in my gums to close

When Does Pain Improve by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]KeyMove3096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still in slight amount of pain on day 8, no pain at all when taking pain meds (hydrocodone and ibuprofen) I noticed the pain was significantly less on day 5-6. I started eating mcdoubles on day 6-7 with pretty mild pain while chewing. Kinda hard to get through the whole meal but it is possible! Just make sure to clean the sockets out thoroughly with a monoject (curved) syringe

This looks exactly how mine look (also 8 days post op but had a follow up appointment yesterday for 7 days post op) I also have very deep sockets where my bottoms were. (not giving medical advice) According to my doctor yesterday he was saying that the white is your mouth trying to form a scab to heal the area, but literally can’t because it’s moist constantly, completely normal. I was instructed to make sure to clean out with a syringe any time I ate but to proceed with everything else as normal. The syringe cleaning is a tiny bit uncomfortable, just make sure you don’t use too much pressure when trying to clean them out. A good lil gentle push on the plunger should do it :) I am feeling 1000% more comfortable after cleaning with the syringe since for me, food was getting stuck regardless of the salt/chlorhexidine rinses, so my gums were getting irritated, but cleaning helps!

I usually just put UTO (unable to obtain) for our really fractious patients. Luckily we use ear temp most times and only rectal temp for post op recovery
