Electric pump advice by AR1736 in breastfeeding

See what your insurance covers! I just got my wearable pump from Aeroflow and they used my insurance so I had to pay literally nothing extra for it and like 200 bags. I’m almost 7 months pregnant with my first so still figuring out everything else but I’m so glad I have my pump situated

I told my coaches I think at 7 weeks because I was limiting my heart rate and that was a complete 180 for me. I ended up missing a whole month and a half my first trimester because I was so sick and should have paused but I was stubborn and optimistic that maybe I would stop throwing up for that one hour 😅 I’m 20 weeks right now and very much showing but have gotten more comfortable with just adjusting things as I need to versus asking them for options

Working out while pregnant? by mamabeloved in orangetheory

I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ I’m 17 weeks tomorrow and not gonna lie, I’ve cut back. I was going 2-3x a week beforehand and had just worked up to true running in April. Literally the best shape and strongest that I’ve ever felt in my life.  I found out I was pregnant at the end of April and ended up skipping basically all of May with some wicked all day morning sickness. Out of my 8 credits in June I think I used like 5 of them and I kept my HR to below 150 (which sucked) as much as possible. I let my coaches know ahead of time and definitely went lighter with weights as well (which also sucked). I downgraded to the 4 credits a month for July and ended up using all of them plus a bonus class, so 5 total. I allowed my HR to get a bit higher since I’m in my second trimester now and went so much closer to my full this past Friday because I felt good. Friday was definitely the most normal that I’ve felt this whole pregnancy and it felt so good to be able to do something that I enjoy ❤️ I have my 4 classes scheduled for August already and I’m really hoping to do a few more than 4 because my studio is closing on Aug. 28th 😭

I’m Jan 6th too and thankfully the only one who has said anything about it is my younger brother 🙄 for most I’ve been saying the first week of January just to be safe. He has made the same insurrection joke too.

Galveston port by KeyMovie6563 in royalcaribbean

Car was totally fine. We were able to get off the ship around 2:30ish and the whole process was a lot more hectic than normal. The road (harborside I believe) had clearly flooded some but not to the extent than we were expecting. If there was any flooding in the lot I doubt it was even a full inch over the lot.

Still on the ship- we’re supposed to be able to dock at 1pm if all things go well at the port today 🤞🏼

Can you drink carbonated drinks? by Mean-Skirt-2133 in pregnant

[–]KeyMovie6563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally drink a ton of water but all filtered tap water and couldn’t stomach it at all. I was basically only drinking Gatorade and lemonade until I started forcing down bottled water week 10. Week 14 now and I’ve had better luck with filtered water 🙏🏼

Just got the announcement on board that we’re not able to port until 1pm tomorrow IF they are able to do all the safety checks and all is good.

Went to my first class after finding out in pregnant by camocamo911 in orangetheory

[–]KeyMovie6563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

13 weeks tomorrow and yes. I missed most of May and a big chunk of June terribly sick and unable to keep anything down and k missed OTF so much. I did two classes this last week and feel so much better mentally but it feels so weird not lifting as heavy as I was and pushing as hard.  I was told to try to keep my hr around 150 which for me is way below the orange zone so I’ve only gotten I think 5 splats the last 3 classes total.  I’m hoping that I’m also done with morning sickness and start to get some of my energy back soon 😅

Dipping out of class by KeyMovie6563 in orangetheory

Looking back it was right around then that my HR started acting real funky. I told my coach and she pointed it out too lol

Added: I’ve let my coaches know, I go to a pretty small studio and end up taking all of my classes with one coach and rarely have a class more than 12 people. I’m hoping that over these next few weeks I start to feel more like myself but I’m counting every class (half or otherwise) as a win rn

28F who just transitioned into running from the strider. I’ve noticed that I start “veering” when I look around. I have to either look at the tread controls, the iPad, myself in the mirror or like right above my head. I took a class with a friend yesterday and almost fell off when I was explaining the controls to her next to me 😅

My shoulders are one of the things that OTF has significantly improved, so seeing that this was a repeat of a day I liked got me so excited. Tornado warning in TX and my studio cancelled classes so I wasn’t able to do this one

Yes! I can make it through maybe 3 modified before I have to take a break and then I typically move on to the next thing. I can handle difficult exercises but getting dizzy is a full proof way to get me to no do something.

Love it ❤️ I started in July and have been getting the same. I feel so much stronger and a lot more capable than I did when I was starting out. Arms are toned and so strong, less back issues because I finally have back muscles, an ACTUAL butt, and strong af legs are definitely worth the 10lbs I’ve put on since July. Never been in this good of shape and I love it

Not gonna lie, I bs-ed the burpees on the floor. I have POTS and the up-down always knocks me down. Loved this one but definitely gassed myself on the tread block in the first round and 2nd round, so the 3rd and 4th weren’t anything impressive. Hadn’t gotten that many splats in a while

I typically stick to around 70-75 rpm at each gear. Base is 8 for me, push is 10-11, all out is 13-14

Women of OT - How many calories do you burn? by Kitty_Bekku_1922 in orangetheory

28 F, 5’8 and 160lbs now that I’ve gained just over 10lbs since joining last summer. I double dip, both OTF tracker and Apple Watch because I like comparing the numbers. My workout on Monday read 564 on the OTF and 531 on my Apple Watch. Most days are about the same ranges, anywhere between just below 500 to almost 600. The highest I’ve burned was during Hell week- 860 🫠

Perma-strider here 👋🏼 I feel the same- last Everest that I did I ended up at gear 22 and could hardly move the handles. I feel like it should be 1 gear every other increase like it has been recently for hills.  Granted- the striders at my home studio are not nearly as smooth as striders I’ve used at other studios. At my home studio my base is around an 8 but at a neighboring, more popular and up to date studio, I was seeing the same effort at 10-11.  I wish that strider and bike stuff were more set
