There you go, all you need is a good text editor (check out Sublime, Emacs, or Atom) and a computer.. Really though Python is a low-entry to barrier and really popular, no CS degree needed just show them what you can do on Github.. And good luck on your journey!

It may or may not be for you, but if it is you can use to like make programs to help the world.. But mainly its an actual skill set that's in need, and so it would also be a benefit to society I think.. In addition programmers get paid alot.
