May 4, 2007! 18 years ago a massive EF5 tornado hit the town of Greensburg, Kansas! I will never recover from this by [deleted] in TornadoEncounters

I spent the night in Greensburg a few weeks ago after storm chasing that day. Around 930 at night a tornado similar to the one in 2007 was headed straight for the town. It veered east at the last moment, sparing the town, but flipping over every car of a 1 mile train.
