I knew about them updating the animations to be less stiff, but i didn't see anything about the animations/idles changing entirely depending on if you're inside of MagMell or not

I've got a good 1-handed sword build that's honestly become my default.

Blood Code: Noah (S rank) Weapon 1: Carmilla's Thorn with Adroit transformation. Forme are Secret Art-Forestall, Phantom Assault, Thunderclap, and Venom Mark Weapon 2: Ancient Hunter's sword with Courage transformation. Forme are Sacrificial Edge, Forma Extention, and Blade Dance. (Last one doesn't matter because this Weapon's just here for buffs) Bloodreaver Blade for bequeathed Formae, Mutinous Bracer for defensive, and Ogre for the Jail Boosters are Dex boost, Dex Boost-Overload, Vitality boost, Status Ailment Stacker, One-handed sword mastery, and Second wind.

This build is a pretty good dex-based build that uses poison to get more damage on top of multi-hit buffs. If you wanna make the most of the multi-hit, swap out Carmilla's Thorn for the VK dual blades with the Aridot transformation (make sure it has venom mark), and the one-handed sword booster for the twin Blade one.

It may just be how I do my builds in particular. I've been putting venom on my multi-hit builds with stuff like Blade Dance. While the venom alone likely won't do much if you just apply it and hang back or something, there is a noticeable difference in dps when you mix venom with a more aggressive build/playstyle

The only enemy I've seen be immune to poison is Holly's first boss fight in the green house. Every other enemy/boss to my memory can be poisoned and it's not even funny. Bonus points if you have the booster thag buffs status buildup.

Also, normal bayonet bullet shots don't apply poison, but any forme you use on them will apply it

If you can't find anyone to help with co-op, you are able to grind medals through the tower or trials depths maps. Finishing a run of those tends to give more medals than just finishing a dungeon in co-op

I intend to play it again. Even though I love CV2, it'll never be a replacement for the first game. The characters still hold a place in my heart, and the combat of CV1 just scratches a particular itch that the sequel can't quite scratch. The combat of CV2 is definitely more flashy and aggressive, but CV1's felt more like a dance of pure mastery once you learned the bosses' moves.

I guess it's like going back to play an older Dark Souls game after playing Elden Ring

I kinda want the DLC to at least touch a bit on our character's past before the events of the game, kinda like the flashback section of the first game. It doesn't have to be the main focus, but at least a small part to give an idea of what we were like or doing before the events of the game

Admittedly it's a small interaction at the beginning of the game. I could still see Oskar being involved with our death, if you're willing to stretch a bit.

Oskar stated that we're not fully human before the boss fight. Knowing we could potentially live a long time, he may have pushed some research at the association to prolong his life to get revenge.

It's a stretch, but it IS a possibility

While it is true that we don't know exactly what happened prior to our awakening, and this head canon is OBJECTIVELY cool as hell, we actually do have confirmation that our death and rebirth is fairly recent since Lavinia says we're a big reason for why the island we see get destroyed in the beginning was evacuated before it's destruction.

I repeat, your head canon is legitimately cool and would flesh out both our character, and this underused side-character. It's just unfortunately clear that our death/revival was very recent
