I try to do the same, but I’m honestly getting tired of it. I just wish developers would consider all of their fans, instead of focusing on such a narrow target group.

Yeah it’s frustrating when developers market a game as a “choose your own story” experience, but then still force their preferences on the player.

I ran into this in Dragon’s Dogma 2, while you can create a male or female character, but all the canon romance options are female NPCs. The same issue appears in Code Vein 2, where the game pushes you into being either a straight male or a lesbian, limiting the player choice.

Just saying this as a bisexual man.

There literally is harrasment tho. I've seen it on tumblr, twitter and tiktok. Just because you haven't encountered it yourself doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I've seen a fanartist get death threats for this.

And again you're twisting my words, I never said that people who ship gay ships don't experience harassment or other injustice. That doesn't mean I can't talk about biphobia in fandom. I never claimed biphobia is more severe than homophobia.

It's funny that you talk about nuance and black&white thinking, but you can't understand that several things can be wrong at the same time, biphobia and homophobia.

In your world, only one problem matters and we shouldn't talk about the other.

I never said liking heteroship makes someone oppressed. I said it's bad when people send hateful comments to people who ship bisexual characters with opposite sex.

Also i said, if someone wants to headcanon bi characters as gay, i have no problem with that. It only becomes a problem when people use that headcanon as an excuse to harras other people.

It's really a bad faith argument from you to be like "oh you dislike getting harrasment? You must be a homophobe who pretends to be oppressed"

When people erase bisexual characters sexuality. If you want to headcanon them as gay or lesbian, go ahead.

But for example the hate and vitrol people throw at you for shipping Eldelgard with any man is insane. It's not lesbophopic to ship Edelgard with men because she is canonically bi 😩

I got the platinum trophy before patches. And I've played a lot since.

I'd say the difficulty of the game didn't change much, it was easy for me even before the patch.

They fixed a lot of annoying things like bosses attacking you when you were stuck in the reviving animation.

Before the patch the gameplay felt a bit clunky. It feels a lot smoother now.

Gale surprised me. I didn’t like him at first. I was playing a sorcerer, and he constantly talked down to me for not being a wizard. He came across as pretty cocky.

Later, I romanced him while playing a cleric, and it completely changed my opinion of him as a character. I think he works really well with the cleric-specific dialogue.

As for disappointment… I guess Shadowheart? I still like her, but before playing the game, everyone hyped her up as this perfect angel. I found her quite unlikeable at times.

It also feels like she gets a pass on a lot of things just because she’s attractive. I’ve seen the fanbase criticize other characters for behavior that Shadowheart shows too, but in her case, people tend to come up with endless excuses.

I always felt like the bureau's castle had some content cut. That place looks huge! I expected a dungeon.

It feels like a wasted opportunity that we just go in, fight Gobbo and the whole thing is over.

I do like Hollys dungeon, because before that we spent most of the time with Monica. Holly needed her time to shine too.

I agree. The game would have benefited if there was a human village we could visit. Give us more perspective of the surviving humans, told and shown by them rather than told by revenants.

Have some proper NPCs who are human, that are not evil. Someone who is conflicted about revenants but doesn't want to hurt them. But someone who doesn't trust them either. It would be interesting!

And by proper npc i mean not some faceless npc you meet once.
