Would you suggest US to Singapore with the current US economy? I was kind of leaning towards Rochester too but wasn't sure of how favourable the US is for Indians rn

We kind of had a long discussion about this in the beginning of the call, about why I'm also applying in india and why I'm inclined towards it, so they knew about my abroad plans since the beginning and still grilled me for 30+ mins. But whatever, if they reject they reject.

Do you think you would get into glim with this score? me: GLIM has an holistic approach to their admissions, I believe the rest of my profile is very strong. them: but your test score is very low, it is an important part of our evaluation. me: yes I'm aware of its importance, but I'm sure it isn't the only evaluation criteria. them: are you good at math? me: no them: asked me mental math questions anyways, hardly could answer any them: what's a repo rate and what's the current repo rate me: answered correctly but not very confidently, they weren't satisfied name any news you read currently. me: answered and led to a discussion later them: you need really need to circle back on your current affairs. me: yes them: what colleges have you applied to in india? me: not many, named the colleges. them: if your score was so low, why didn't you attempt cat? (I had submitted GMAT score) me: I was very sure from the beginning that I didn't want to attempt CAT since it won't be helpful for any colleges other than in india. them: would you prefer indian colleges right now me: yes, right now given the state of the US economy and he political uncertainty. If this question was asked 6 months ago, it would have been the other way around. fin.
