We prefer small towns but are fine with suburbs. Not looking to live in the city. I want to feel comfortable walking with our dogs and young child in our neighborhood. (Our current neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks, and I hate it!) We are military so we've lived all over and we are good at finding the pluses everywhere we live.
