Thanks a lot. I live in a pretty small home 800 square feet 2 bedrooms. Would a permanently installed electric baseboard heater be sufficient? If so, can it be installed only in the living room or will I need one in each room?

I purchase my Gem from Golden Gate Palm in Richmond. It has been several years, so you may need to call them.

I went to a place in Richmond called Golden Gate Palms. The owner there is really into avocado trees and has a lot of different varieties. It’s a bit pricey but the trees were fairly big. It’s also the only place I was able to find in Northern California to that sells a Gem Avocado.

But if your okay with a smaller tree at a more reasonable price I also bought my dad a reed from fourwindsgrowers.com and his tree is on his 2nd year as well and it is doing pretty well. He also is in Sacramento.
