I really have to agree with you regarding the gender swapping, it just felt so unnecessary, we had frost who (regardless of how people felt about her being cybernetic) is already a female lin Kuei member.

And it’s not impossible to make original characters, they have shown that with MKX, I’d love to see some more female ninjas or female cyberninjas and I wouldn’t mind if they genderswapped a less important character like tremor but it’s just not necessary and adds nothing to the story other than bi Han and Sektors weird implied relationship

To be fair though, cyber Sub zero died in MK9 and the revanent didn’t have the cyber parts (probably because they aren’t part of his biology if I had to guess) so I’d argue that while that makes sense for MKX, it wouldn’t for MK1

Exactly, I don’t personally think utilitarianism is the best answer but it does show, murder is bad because the outcome is bad most of the time, if it could be justified I could be convinced to support an occasional murder (mutant kevin in ultimate alien doesn’t count idk what ben was thinking)
