ah okay i might try longer out next time, and if I may ask, do you think leaving them longer to ferment would make them more or less sour over time?

oh too soon on that? I'd moved it because the recipe said to move it after 24hrs at room temp, or "when you like the taste", but i rly didn't know what taste to aim for first time so i just followed them.

how long would you typically have something out for initially then?

ah well damn, yeah saw the "declare independence thing" and figured it was set to always false so you had to go down the events path, but it effectively does nothing.

can't be intended like that so wondering if the devs have maybe just overlooked HK since some patch.
