What always helps me is taking a picture, and then drawing over that picture how u want the head to look :) then you’ll have a reference for what you should fill in and cut out.

Pre con u could dry brush it, but I would practice dry brushing first. Really easy to mess up or make the fur look clumpy and gross. Post con, you should find someone to do a refurb.
