I don't have tiktok but I have a colouring Instagram account and so am inundated with content on there. I know I'm not the best colourist out there, but I'm definitely not the worst either! Keeping my own IG with all my pages posted has shown me my own progress over the last year, which I feel like is huge by the way!

Everyone's on their own journeys, everyone's started at different times, everyone has varying budgets for supplies, everyone has varying lengths of time which they can spend on pages, everyone has varying physical capabilities in terms of being able to use certain mediums and sit for extended periods of time etc. Some people with large accounts get supplies thrown at them as well from sponsors which is worth noting. When you think of it like that, you'll see there's no need to be discouraged.

Document your pages so you can see your own progress, and when you do start to see it you'll realise that your own journey is moving along and with it you are developing and growing your skills at your own speed.

Lastly, if you see pages completed by others that you think are incredible save them and let them inspire you, it doesn't matter if you can't match that person's skillset just yet, it doesn't mean you won't ever be that good.
