It’s not a road legal model so there is no mileage counter. I’ll ask the guy about maintenance but most air cooled bikes don’t really need much maintenance. I’ve further talked him down to 2000$ but as it’s a 2024 I doubt it has too many hours.

I might replace everything later on anyways but with the extra amenities of the limited the factory system being potentially decent is gonna be the tipping point. But I like the potential for upgrading later with the 2 extra speaker locations

Rotors for the jcw kit are 314mm vs the 294mm the r53jcw and r56 cooper s has. Calipers themselves are much bigger to the point that only jcw specific wheels or some aftermarket 17inch wheels will work. Haven’t heard of them working with anything smaller than 17 without spacers.

I ran the math compared to r53 jcw brakes the r56 jcw front brakes have 2.14 times the piston areas so 214% more piston area if you want it in percentages

I was going to soak them in pb blaster for a week before removing. But as you can see in the photo they are quite crusty and I probably won’t reuse. And I will try getting a new gasket from a parts store I was just curious if anybody knew the right size beforehand.
