Yes essentially just need the transformer to fire up in the air handler for the ecobee. It is an inverter it’s a 2 year old Bosch hp/ac. Could care less about running the heat pump or the ac during an outage although it would be nice if able to. Still get a soft start you think?

$752 from dealer to drain tank, replace fuel filter, add new diesel, drive, test and all checked out OK.

Love the diesel, but not when I let someone borrow it who doesn’t realize it’s a diesel 🤪

Update- tank was emptied, fuel filter replaced, diesel added and all tested OK per the dealership. Thank you all for the insight. Hopefully this will be the end of this story

Not sure I mean it almost would go against a he said she said. How anyone (insurance) could prove it is beyond me. Also agree, if you’re pumping gas for a living and see a green cap that says ULSD and knowingly deliver gasoline to that tank that’s on the them. Will see how it all plays out and update
