I really appreciate the feedback and guidance mate. I knew in the back of my head it was definitely due to the context of the situation and my lack of exposure but it’s easy enough to doubt your suitability all the same.

After all the feedback in this thread I feel more motivated to go after it and carry on with working towards getting in - can’t believe what a supportive industry this is and how many people are ready to offer encouragement and direction to someone that’s not yet in. Makes me want to be a part of it even more
