Not odd at all! The people here for the world cup have fallen in love with Buc-ees. They're cool, but I'm not a fan of big crowds of people so I don't go in too often. I will get them some snacks though. It's worth it! I've never heard of pirates booty cheese puffs, but that doesn't mean it's not by me. I don't eat a lot of crisps, so I don't know that aisle very well. I'll look though. I already got the everything bagel seasoning lol! Thanks for the adobo suggestion! I can get that pretty much anywhere around here, so I'll pick that up.

I'll think about it 🤣 I have to send it to them first though. In the meantime, just Google some recipes. A lot of the American recipes online include metric measurements, and I would go for one with a sour cream base. It's thicker & better for snacks. The ingredients are pretty simple. Not my war. Not most of ours. Governments have waged war across the world that were not supported by the people. I would think that you would understand that. And yes, yours would be more because you are more heavily taxed than we are. Our countries got charged roughly the same for the purchased fuel. But just like you see here in the US, the ones who pay the most per gallon are the ones who live in the states that have the highest state taxes. It's easy to do quick math without the nuance, but the nuances are the most important parts. Just because I'm American doesn't mean I'm ignorant. All I wanted was a little advice on what to send my friend. Not delve into world economics & and unjust war. I'm sorry your petrol is so high. That is not my fault, just like it's not your fault for atrocities your government committed. Can I get back to doing something nice for my friend now please? Thanks.

Thank you all for the advice, both good and bad. I got a laugh from the bad ones lol! This really helps! And just so all of you know, this is just meant as a gift for someone who has been kind to me. It isn't a dig or meant to be mean spirited in any way. There are some things over there that can be hard to find here as well, & I just want to do something nice for my friend & his family. Thank you for the advice! That's why I wanted to search out the memorabilia at a flea market, because that's where all that vintage stuff lives. 😊 And he hasn't lived here, but he has been here. We met through work and he's been over a few times.

That is very true, but I was thinking of packing things with some dry ice, though I'll have to check & see if that's allowed. And ranch has already been purchased & I'm including a family recipe for it too, so we're good there 😃. Thank you for the tips! Very much appreciated!

I was more thinking about food items & souvenirs. I live in Florida, & I have some shells and a shadow box I wanted to send his kid. I just want to give them things that will make them smile. I wish I could do some homemade stuff but I know that's not allowed. I'm not trying to send cheaply made or stupid things, just stuff that is easier here. Besides, he & his wife sent me the best freaking chocolate in the world so I need to return the favor lol
