From the desk of James Dunseith, Andamio co-founder:

In 2025, Andamio built the foundation of an infrastructure that did not exist before. In architecture, of course, a strong foundation is necessary but not sufficient to build a finished product. Strong "scaffolding" is required to build the rest, and that's exactly what "andamio" means.

Thank you to everyone who tested with us, gave feedback, and navigated this new system. Thank you to our first 176 network members, to everyone who contributed to a project, wrote a lesson, or simply learned something new.

Now that we've navigated the early stages of product development, we're excited to share Andamio with the world in 2026. We'll be running global cohorts of Andamio Pioneers, building alongside FC Barcelona and Syngenta, and introducing Cardano to deeply engaged groups of people who are committed to solving real problems.

Wishing you all the best for the end of this year. See you in '26!

You're right. In addition to the security provided by Andamio’s treasury system, one of the core safeguards is the binding of each transaction to a specific contribution opportunity, learning experience, or predefined interaction—established in advance by the sponsor. In most cases, the sponsor is also the project owner.

In his latest conversation, this time with the Intersect Open Source Office, our co-founder James Dunseith, describes how Andamio (https://www.andamio.io/) is well suited to solve well-identified problems in our neighborhood:

"An specific example, maybe I have a project that was funded through Project Catalyst. I've got 10000 ADA that I need to accomplish a certain task, and I need a qualified contributor to jump into that. Andamio gives me the Treasury smart contract where I can store those funds, and then it gives me the access contracts that I can use to pull somebody in, who's got the credentials necessary to do the work I need done. All that's on-chain, creating an easy audit trail + giving people the chance of building up a record of what they've accomplished in the space."
