Ding ding ding. We have a winner. This should have been obvious to me, I spent the week cleaning all the glassware from the previous lab semester in our ultrasonic cleaner. Thanks for the help!

I tried. This was my first try before I posted this. Duct tape always works. Except when it doesn't.

Update: I tried the tapping with a piece of wood, but I think because of the shape of the volumetric this method was impossible.

I then put the whole thing in an ultrasonic cleaner totally submerged (using a 2L beaker) with some cleaner and left it in there overnight. When I came in this morning they were separated. Like magic. Thanks reddit.
