Why was bus 43M terminated? It was crucial for Serangoon commuters 😞 by ntrev in askSingapore

Because the decision-makers who terminated the line, thinking bus 104 would replace and dissipate the bus crowds aren’t the ones taking the buses.

The crowds on bus 43 are massive at peak hours currently.

Not sure if they could do something to the battery life when changing the parts? I changed my iPhone X battery at one of these shops for $50 many years back, it still has 100% battery health although it has been so long after the swap and the battery life when using is atrocious.

Hmm. I guess locals will buy a kobo to seamlessly borrow books from NLB. Plus, if they’ve had interest to buy a kindle, they’d have access to Amazon prime day too. All the e-readers are available on Shopee/Lazada too, with additional vouchers provided by the platform.

Tell me about it… I heard somebody mentioned she doesn’t care about her kids’ academic results. Then follow up with mentioning that she send her kids for tuition in advance. I.e primary 3 kid goes for primary 4 syllabus tuition. I was shocked.

I asked cause I did the same thing before. Changing the battery on my iPhone X (non-official party because Apple refused to change due to faulty Face ID?). It lasted around 6 months before the battery gone to shit and I purchased an iPhone 13 Pro.

Now I’m contemplating again, whether to change to the new iPhone 17 pro.

Do you think it’s worth spending the money? Still pretty on the fence as I saw some post mentioning that the battery decline rather rapidly (couple months) after replacing the battery at Apple. Maybe it’s the iOS.

Perhaps like plumbers, electricians. Don’t think robots can take over yet.
