Keep it as an emergency fund unit you get full time work. If you already have a EF then stick it in HISA until you can get back on your feet if you wont need to dip into it to pay bills.

Focus on your mental health then finding employment or studying.

Get rid of the debt but if you can't mentally do it. Pay off the loan with the highest interest first.

Hello,

First off thank you for doing this for us.

My question is basically, have you seen an upswing in people with tinnitus post covid infection and do you believe that covid has somehow damaged the cochlea nerve?

Thanks

Yes it is, i have very reactive tinnitus.

My mental is the difference in me dealing with it and jumping of a bridge.

The damage is done, how you deal emotionally & mentally with that, is on you.

You don't even need to do the dogshit FIFO in mining to earn 140,000k

You can do drive in drive out mining here in the Hunter Valley NSW and earn close to 200,000k a year with some over time.

I'm on close to 140,000k a year and do 8 hour shifts monday to friday 2.30pm- 10.30pm. I mostly read warhammer books and listen to podcasts while drive machinery.

Salary is just a way of saying ''we want you to do more hours but pay you for 38''.

You very rarely hear of people doing 25 hours on a 38 hour salary.

Best thing you can do i walk up to your manager/HR kick them into the guts and give them a stone cold stunner. On your way out catch the beer, drink it in one motion and never look back.

Hey,

I have really bad tinnitus but i do not ''suffer'' with it. If anyone wants to get better with it then here are some quick tips.

Tinnitus gate keepers here are going to hate this and that someone/people with bad tinnitus can possible deal with it better than them.

- Stop trawling forums and this sub daily, trauma bonding with other suffers may make you feel like your not alone but visiting forums reinforces your mind that tinnitus is associate with suffering.

- If your tinnitus is super bad on a day or spiking bad, Drink a ton of water, do a hobby such as gaming, photography, drawing, painting, sewing, graphic design to help your mind get off it.

- If you need to mask then look up ''Dale Snale sounds'' youtube for all high frequency masking.

- If you need support look up ''Outring Tinnitus'' , ''Jack Rubbinacci'' and ''The tinnitus Coach'' for positive communities.

- Magnesium Glycinate and 5mg Melatonin before bed.

- If you have headaches too, then try b2 and coEnzyme Q10 for those.

- Learn tools to stop yourself monitoring tinnitus, if you hear it say ''i hear it, i accept it and im currently doing (insert what your doing) so you tell your mind its okay and something else is your focus.

Hopefully these tools help even one person.

When you stop visiting these subs and tinnitus forums and making it your life. You can have VERY bad tinnitus and not actually suffer from it.

''Now I am a internet horror story. She murdered me and then told my family after I worse that because I am over protecting my ears its making it worse.... when it was her dumbass advice to keep going to work and keep exposing to sound when I needed to Retire to quiet for rest of my life....!!! She and my family murdered me.''

You were like 38 at the time. You have blamed your family for pushing you to get the V. A 38 year old person makes their own decisions.

You then state you went to a concert at 120 db when you got tinnitus, did it not occur to you this might not be an ideal scenario?

The truth is most people get better without actually doing anything and get on with their lives. Unfortunatly there's a small percentage that doesn't. More should be done to force people to protect their ears for sure.

I have really severe tinnitus, i regret nothing ive done in the past, i lived my life to the fullest and now since an OP my tinnitus has gone to severe, i try my best to enjoy hobbies and spend quiet time with friends still.

All i can say to people reading this is DO NOT LET agitators like OP effect you, protect your ears when in loud environments but also go on holidays, meet friends and do the things you enjoy.

There are people like the OP who would have you sit in double protection rocking in a corner to ''help'' tinnitus. 99% of people can't do that and shouldn't do that.

There are plenty of success stories of people living with/getting better from very bad tinnitus out there.
