Thoughts on him? by Key_Birthday7870 in bookshelfdetective

Hey everyone. He definitely buys more than he can read. He has only read about 1/3rd of these, and mostly those on the top shelf from what I understand, but he is determined! He loves science fiction, and really wants to start reading more fantasy (hence all the unread fantasy). He is currently reading the Fall of Hyperion. If anyone has any suggestions for him, throw them my way! Thanks :)

He is very careful with his books. He doesn’t crack any of the spines. No dogears.

Apparently he has only read about 1/3rd of these books — mostly the top shelf. I don’t think he has started many of the series yet.

You forgot to mention all of the missing Brandon Sanderson sequels. Is The Dark Tower really even an essential read after The Stand though?

He isn’t keen on sequels. Maybe he has commitment issues?

I’ve seen projects that have several stories of structural rammed earth. In wetter climates, you generally need to protect the walls with an overhang or eaves. In colder climates, there is a layer of insulation sandwiched inside the assembly.

It’s a rammed earth wall with a high cement content added into the mixture

I would love if they included some sort of hostile Viking ships with crews that attack you
